This is a Japanese Kouchi Style insence case of Kyo ware, which was made by the 1st class potter, Hisashi Tezuka (1934-) about 40 years ago.
'Kabuto, a Samurai armor helmet' is molded.
The signature of the potter is written on the bottom. The original wooden box with the signature of the potter & the profile of the potter are also included.
Japanese insence case is called "Kogo".
