US Air Force - 4450th Tactical group patch set (This Auction is for both patches in the Photo) Both patches are 100 percent US made, Beautiful, fully embroidered and are in an absolutely Mint condition.
NOTE: Great chance to get both of these F-117 Stealth fighter program related patches from the good old Cold war days.
NOTE: The A-7D was used as a Training platform for the Aircrews of the 4450th Tactical Group.
SIDE NOT...E: I was TDY at Nellis in 1985 and passed by the TA area in front of Base Op's and saw one these A-7D Aircraft parked there. Tried to get a close up look at it, but the area around the Plane was roped off and had armed Sp's standing guard, that is how Classified this Program was back then.
The A-7D "BIG D" patch measures in at 3 1/2" X 4" or 9cm X 10.5cm.
