Vintage 3/4 Lb 60 X 90 Mm Mini Hatchet Old Tool Steel Shaft

I had this earmarked for a restoration, in dire need of a rebirthOld, rusty, heavily pitted, the steel shaft was probably longer (looks to be snapped off) and leather wrapped.If you are after a challenging little project this is for you.You must be over 18 years old to buy this tool, apprentices excepted.See the images as they form the best part of the description.The second hand old tools and items I sell can have the usual wear and tear marks, sometimes have the previous owners name ...and or initials or other identifying marks stamped or scratched into them, have dings, scuff marks, paint spatter & surface rust or corrosion etc expected of old tools and items. Timber handles to axes, hammers, hatchets etc may appear sound and firm but could be towards the end of their usable life and need replacing.Items may require cleaning, servicing and sharpening as well. Old locks, knobs and latches may not work or may need new keys cutting for them. Screws may be missing from hardware and hinges or mismatched. This is all part of the course with older items.If you really want an item bid early as it may be removed from eBay at any time.Because eBay and PayPal now charge fees on top of postal costs I am forced to pass these on cost fees onto items being posted, hence handling cost of $3. Unless noted otherwise, local pick up from Belrose NSW 2085 is OK at a mutually acceptable time. Belrose is about 10 mins from Dee Why Beach & Chatswood.Combined postage on multiple items is OK.
