The center backrest of the Limited Edition Chair is painted with the homestead of John Adams and is named on the back of that rung, "Adams' Old House". The silhouette of Adams' profile appears on the top rung. It is signed with the L. Hitchcock, Hitchcocksville Conn, Warrented on the frame of the caned seat. Measurement: 35" inches high, 18' inches wide

Stenc...iling and gold embellishments are bright, clear, and without wear. The painted scenes are bright, clear and without damage of any kind. The green paint has barely a mark.The chair is sturdy, tight, with no movement.Caned seat is in fine condition.
