There is a very small “hairline” crack (less then 1” in length) on one side that is not visible from the front, but only when you turn to the side and really look for it. This book was recently submitted to CGC by me earlier this year. I tried to include as many photos as I could that would give you the overall visuals of the book. A bunch of 80 year old paper and staple...s never looked better. The book presents very well with bold colors. Please see photos to be the judge.

IMPORTANT: All professionally Graded Comic Books are sold AS IS. All photos are photographed in natural lighting and are unedited. I ask for you to examine all of them PRIOR TO MAKING A PURCHASE OR BIDDING ON AN AUCTION. I have absolutely zero control over the Graded book INSIDE the pressure sealed encapsulation by a professional comic book grading service company(how it’s laid ”centered” in encapsulation, Newton rings etc) If you feel that the Newton Rings are an issue I suggest you contact CGC, CBCS, PGX, etc and request a reholder (Please see their official website) I do not work for CGC, CBCS, PGX, ETC and am not responsible for their grading process.
I try and make an effort to list any significant damage to acrylic holder. Any case may display the “rainbow effect” or “Newton rings”.
As per the official CGC website the “rainbow effect” or “Newton Rings are a normal occurrence when two different plastics (which have different refractive indexes) are placed togethers. This is a result of the inner sleeve (which holds the book) contacting the hard-plastic outer shell; the two different plastics have different refractive indexes and that sometimes creates a rainbow effect when they come into contact.”
Light inner well scuffing , or standard surface wear (minor scratches/scuffing). If minor imperfections in the case are a concern to you, please look very closely at the photos before buying. Please be aware that these cases are meant to protect the book inside and does not effect the grade or value of the book INSIDE the pressure sealed encapsulation.
If your opinion is that the encapsulated comic book you have purchased from me doesn't deserve the professional grade it was given by the professional grading company ( CGC, CBCS, PGX, ETC.) or are uncertain or unhappy with the professional grading of a comic sold to you, I suggest you contact the professional grading company in question.
