Pre-owed and a much loved children's book
This lovely vintage children's book was written and illustrated by the famous Pendelfin founder, Jean Walmsley Heap.It is a 1st Edition dated 1953 and published by The Stanmore Press, London. It is the second in the series.
The book is in very good condition with spine and pages all nice and tight.All 4 blue & black full page illustrations with 6 black & white illustrations are in excellent condition along with many small drawings... throughout the book. Once again very whimsical designs by Jean.The Dust Jacket is in very good condition considering its age and has some repairs done with special archival tape. Very hard to find.
Th adventures continue for David, Karen, Father Time, Emily the rag doll & Goliath the monkey as they travel with the little mannikin, The Dingleflop & encounter the monster, The Proverbial Dragon in the Land of Time.
