This offer is for an original Star Trek VI blanket commissioned by (film director)Nicholas Meyer himself. Meyer wanted fans to have a piece of Star ...Trek history and he arranged for 500 blankets like the one used in the Rura-Penthe-rescue-transporter-scene-with-Kirk-and-McCoy to be created. These blankets are made from virgin wool and are extremely rare; as only 500 exist. this blanket is numbered 54 of 500. This blanket is approximately 69"x62", blue silk-screened onto a beige blanket. The edges of the blanket are bound. Blanket has never been outside the original bag, the cerificate and care instruction are sun faded and wrinkled from being in the bag when they were displayed in my store.
