Early 1900's Antique Art Nouveau Style Jefferson Signed Cast Iron Dual Socket Painted Lamp Base features original paint and parts, Leviton sockets, Dale non-polarized plug, and 8" beaded pull chains. Measures approximately 21" high, 6.5" base diameter, weighs a solid 8.5 lbs. Originally this had a reverse paint mushroom shaped shade - there are many lovely antique shades available on eBay to match with this item.Lamp is in very good condition considering age. There are no cra...cks, dents, or rust in body of base. The paint is in overall good condition. Minor paint loss due to contact while used or stored rather than flaking - most seem to be near pull chains (see photos). Bottom is missing felt and there is kink on the bottom plate. Sockets work however cord is deteriorating with age; wiring slightly exposed near non-polarized plug. I would strongly recommend modern rewiring for safety - tested lamp using an extension on a switch rather than touching with bare hand. There are modern replica Dale plugs available to retain some authenticity with wiring. Bulbs are not included.
