Original Description:
Authentic bookends made from the wood of the U.S. Frigate Constitution in the shape of a Ship's bollard. One bookend bears a plaque which reads, "This Material Was Taken From The Original Hull of the U.S. Frigate Constitution, Keel Laid 1794 Rebuilding 1927". A bollard is a short post for rope. The bookends each individually measure 6 5/8" wide, 3 3/4" deep, and 7 1/4" high. They are in typical old ship condition!
