LARGE HEREND PORCELAIN YELLOW FISHNET CROUCHING RABBIT FIGURINE 5337-0 Sweet and treasured porcelain figurines by HEREND of Hungary. Each is superior quality porcelain hand pai...nted by skilled artisans, often times including 24k gold detailing as on this piece. The famous fishnet detailing took form in 1858 when a Herend painter became inspired by a fish scale design he saw on a Chinese porcelain plate. The rest is history, and now the fishnet design is a Herend signature that is prized worldwide.
