Rhodesian Air Force Pilot and Grey's Scouts Officer photo album, 2 cards and 69 original photos of Pilot training, aircraft, wings presentation, aircraft accidents, pilots in the Mess, his service in the Rhodesian Light Infantry, and parachutes/parachuting - belonged to a Rhodesian Officer who served in the 1950's as a Pilot in the Southern Rhodesia Air Force, then later left the Air Force and joined the Rhodesian Light Infantry as a Non-Commissioned Officer - must have been the only N...CO who wore Rhodesian Pilot wings, transferred to Rhodesian African Rifles (RAR), later Commissioned in the RLI, and then transferred to the Grey's Scouts (Captain) when they were formed, received the Defence Force Medal for Meritorious Service while serving with the Grey's Scouts. He served throughout the Rhodesia Bush War, and, after Zimbabwe Independence in 1980, he joined the South African Army and retired as a Major, some photos removed from album before I bought it, from my personal collection.
