An example of when shipping might not be cheaper -- if you purchase both a wrought iron piece and a basket, and the box required to properly protect your purchase does not allow a reduced shipping rate. Please keep in mind I am in the Midwest, so if you are on the East or West coast, shipping will be higher. I ship priority, as that protects you, the buyer, as it provides both tracking and insurance. If I am able to ship for less using another carrier -- such as Fedex or UPS, I will contact you first for approval and provide you with an estimate of your savings. You will still have the option of refusing the carrier change or cancelling the purchase prior to shipping.
