GENERAL SQUEEGEE TIRESVINTAGE ADVERTISING CLOCK
This alarm clock dates from the 1930 - 1940 era and is in good overall condition. The name GENERAL SQUEEGEE appears on the front and back of the tire. This company produced a very tiny quantity of promotional items like this which ensures that it is scarce.
I have not cleaned nor attempted to service the clock in any way. The clock does not keep time right now. It may be that the spring has been overwound and is frozen -... which should be fixable. All knobs and winders move freely and the clock hands are easily spun. I have had the alarm run well. The clock face is pristine and there is no tarnish to any of the metal parts.
There is only one tiny crack to the tire at the bottom rear where the clock sits on the counter and where the tire has flattened slightly. The tire is composed of real tire rubber.
The clock was made in Germany by Miihlheim which suggests it was made prior to 1939 - WW2.
