This comes directly from my personal collection, where it has been stored in a climate controlled area for years. I am listing multiple items from this private collection. This is an extremely rare and unusual item. I have had this for about 30 years and I have never seen another one like it. It is a large celuloid button that is a photo frame. It opens up and has a glass insert. You can add and remove photos. This was the photo in it when I bought it. I think it is taken on a batt...leship with a naval seaman standing on it. Probably circa WWII. There are other photos behind it, probably family members. One is a child with a doll. This is a HUGE button, measures approx 2 1/2" square and more than 1/2" deep with shank. All celluloid. One tiny crack in one corner. This has not been cleaned, just lightly buffed with a soft cloth. very good condition!
