RARE 1890's Antique Mirror Bar Sign Dr. Harter's Wild Cherry Bitters, 28"x17" Vintage Bottle Liquor Pub Advertisement

I am thinking that this sign could be an original and was made sometime after 1895 when the company moved to Dayton, OH. This was a recent estate sale find, so I do not know its history. RARE: I haven't been able to find any of the...m available online, or a value, so I will let the eBay world decide. The very first picture in this listing was actually not mine, but the only one I found available on the internet. All the rest I took of the actual sign up for auction.
The frame has some wear in the form of scratches or discoloration as seen in the pics. The mirror also has some small smoky spots. The look like black tiny needle specked areas here and there, (very minor and maybe normal) and I did my best to showcase all of them in the photos (which is a bit tricky with a mirror). The biggest most notable is on the left side, a flaw that really shows up glowing in the photo under my spot light, (way more than it would be normally). There are several of these small spots on the mirror, they don't all show up that well in these photos for some reason though) THE PHOTOS ARE A MAJOR PART OF THE DESCRIPTION - so please view them and ZOOM all of them. I really have done my best to describe and photo this item.

He would graduate from several medical and surgical schools. He would also have a practice for a while. This firm was established in Saint Louis around 1868 ( Some ads show this date to be 1855 ) by Milton G and Samuel K Harter and Thomas W Boyer, all originally from Ohio. The company operated as Dr. Harter & Company for several Years.Dr. Harter would go in business with a Roberts S. Drake from St. Louis in 1873. Together they would build a factory to produce his medicines. The company was now called the Dr. Harter Medicine Company. Some of the medicines the firm was producing were Harter's Iron Tonic which was one of their good sellers. Dr. Harter's Fever and Ague Specific , Harter's Smoothing Drops, Dr. Harter’s Pile Ointment, Dr. Harter’s Little Liver Pills – Do not Gripe or Sicken, Dr. Harter’s Iron Tonic, Dr. Harter’s Lung Balm , Dr. Harter’s Liniment, Dr. DuChoine’s Nerve Pills, Dr. DuChoine’s Female Regulating Pills, Dr. Harter’s German Vermifuge CandyHarter's Lung Balsam and Harter's Improved Liniment. In. 1885 they marketed Dr. Harter's Wild Cherry Bitters. This Bitters would become very popular. In 1895, the business had relocated to Dayton, Ohio Dr. Harter would pass away in 1890 and C. I. Hood a well known drug manufacture from Lowell, Mass. would purchase the controlling interests of the Harter Medical Co. Later on the company was taken over by the San Antonio Drug Company. The Bitters manufacturing was kept in St. Louis but the sales operation was located in Dayton. Ohio. The company’s products included Dr. Harter’s Fever and Ague Specific, Dr .Harter’s Fever and Ague Pills, and the famous Dr. Harter’s Wild Cherry Bitters. Dr. Harter’s daughter, Mary Jayne Harter Coleman, married William Hayner of Hayner Distillery fame in 1891.___________________________________________________
