Dobbs 1940's Top Hat Demitasse Black Matte and White Porcelain Cup and Saucer
White porcelain single demitasse cup and saucer set. Features a matte soft black finish with a picture of a 1940's Top Hat. The hallmark on the bottom says, "Dobbs". It could be representing the Dobbs Hat Company in New York which was founded in the 30's or 40's. Have not found a pottery maker by that name. Found an antique store listing that said it was 1940's. In very ...good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Cup holds 2 ounces of liquid, measures 2" diameter x 2 1/8" H. Plain white saucer measures 4 1/4" diameter.
