Tao needs no introduction in the world of high grade Danish pipe making, certainly a legend and has made some of the finest pipes ever produced. The Danish carve the Brandy shape incredibly well and Tao's interpretation of the classic design is beautiful yet masculine with its smooth lines and larger format. The big bowl carries extra thick walls with an inward sloping rim leading to a deep and generous chamber. It's remarkably comfortable a...nd rests firmly in the hand with excellent balance. The wide base is flat enough to allow this pipe to rest on its own and transitions to a thick round shank that is adorned with an original silver band that meets the ebonite stem with slight fishtail bit and Tao's anchor logo. Finish is a warm medium walnut stain that perfectly highlights the starburst flame exploding out of a patch of birdseye on the heel, wow! A stunning pipe from Tao, this one will not disappoint.
