For sale is a working DVD drive for PowerBook G3 computers (Pismo and Lombard). It will not fit in other, earlier PowerBook G3 models. I tested it working with a DVD (not included). Units may also work with CDs, but all CD actions are untested. I have several for sale, and each auction is for ONE (1) drive. Because it uses a slot and not a tray like the original DVD drive, users must be more careful about ejecting and may even have to help guide discs out.... See photographs for more details. I will choose a random unit each time a sale occurs. Photographs 1-2 show the first; 3-5 show the second; 6-8 show the third (in a CD case but it is a DVD drive); 9-10 show the fourth; 11 shows a standard screen on my Pismo when a DVD was inserted; and 12 shows what the standard slot looks like when installe (actually slots may vary).
