Showing very similar characteristics to an LB, this muscular shape 513 is a classic rendition yet was not produced in many numbers. Made in the bicentennial year of 1976, this now 44 year old Tanshell is a stout straight Billiard with extra thick walls surrounding the deep and generous chamber. Bottom of the shank is flat making for a nice setter but otherwise round and well proportioned tapering slightly to meet the original vulcanite stem with crisp white spot and fishtail bit. Finis...h is a bit lighter than most Tanshell's while the blast shows tons of deep birdseye pockets on the left side while the right shows ring grain and more birdseye. While the rim shows darkening and there is an exterior spot on the rear of the bowl (possibly from a cigarette), the chamber is near mint surprisingly and shows light use. A fantastic chubby Billiard from the 1970's, this one will not disappoint.
