ITEM DESCRIPTIONA magnificent antique Dutch brass snuff box.Dating to around the mid 18thC.Engraved to each side with a portrait of a military figure in traditional dress, perhaps a Turk and a figure from another nationality (?).Titled in Dutch beneath each portrait.Measures just over 6.5 inches/16.5cm long and is unusually deep at 4.5cm.The condition and patina are totally stunning and original, wonderful colour, no faults or repairs and the lid closes beautifull...y.I have seen and sold many of these over the years but this is the best I have seen.Buyer will be delighted.Please take a look at my other antiques.International buyers always very welcome!
