Today we are excited to ofer for sale a great vintage Zippo Mickey Mouse Productions Barcroft table top lighter! This classic Barcroft lighter was finely crafted and detailed by the American Zippo Manufacturing Company of Bradford, Pennsylvania (founded in 1932 and still in business!). Zippo’s first table lighter, the #10, was produced in limited quantities between 1938 and 1941, and had an inside unit with greater than four times the fuel capacity of a conventional Zippo windproof pocket lighter. In 1954 it was renamed the Barcroft and produced until 1979. The rare Disney-themed lighter features a heavy, gold-tone plated body with the iconic image of Mickey Mouse, and was produced under license from Walt Disney Productions. Lighter is in good vintage condition, with minor wear, scuffing, tarnish and patina commensurate with age. There is minor loss to the Mickey Mouse decal. Flint wheel still sparks; lighter will need fluid. Felt on bottom is partially missing. This rare and awesome Zippo lighter will make a fine addition to any well-curated Disney and Tobacciana collection. Fresh to the market!
