Vintage ZIPPO General Electric Refrigerators Advertising Lighter 1959. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS First Class. This 1959 advertising piece is in great used condition, it does have some some scratches on the flat surfaces. This Zippo was created during the boom years at Appliance Park, when more than 30, 000 men and women labored to make their living there. The buildings at G.E. housed so many souls on the weekdays that it was given a separate postal code, and had a larger pop...ulation than the city around it. And they made some damn good refrigerators, chances are you are someone you know has one out in there garage, chugging away keeping the beer cold.
