SEALED vintage TRS-80 Color Computer 3 software: Multi-Vue for OS 9 Level Two
It's still factory sealed - and looking inside through the shrinkwrap, you can see that at least part of the inner contents are shrinkwrapped as well. Note that I am not trying to imply that the floppy disks inside will actually be readable.
Multi-Vue was an early "operating environment" built to run inside the Color Computer's operating system. (which was itself kind of a big deal at the time - "...OMG. Two programs at once!") Multi-Vue allowed use of "windows" and "icons", though not with the same level of drag and drop functionality we have today. The feature list (see photos) reads like a subset of the first iPhone. Calendar, Timer, Calculator.
There's a YouTube video of a guy installing this exact software package on vintage hardware, of course, so you can see it in action if you're not familiar. Neat, even if you're not a vintage computer person. I'd forgotten how noisy they were.
Note the "01.00.00" sticker, which may or may not actually mean "first released version" - but I wouldn't be surprised to find out that it is. Also still has the Radio Shack price tag.
Please see the photos, as they're an important part of my descriptions and they show the exact item you'll receive. On Jun-25-20 at 16:51:19 PDT, seller added the following information:edit to add two photos of the spine of the package - and to add the Tandy Product : 26-3035
