Original Description:
Up for auction is an original antique Duke's Special Long Cut Tobacco advertising mirror sign dating from the late 1800's to early 1900's. The beveled mirror is acid etched on the backside with the advertisement. Frame and pieces are made of brass. you get what you see in the photos. I do not have the base or top piece. The mirror is very sturdy and will display well. The mirror is alittle loose in the frame. In overall nice condition for its age. Mirror has no cracks and no chips. A little wear... on the metallic part as seen in the photos. Brass parts have nice patina and can be polished if desired. No tears, no cracks and one of the side decorative flowers has some edge bends that can be repaired easily. Measures approx. 12 1/2" wide by 16 1/2" in total height with the mounting pole. Weight is 2 pounds unpacked. Rare item and is a must for any collector.
