Antique platinum diamond solitaire with diamond set shoulders. This stunning diamond ring is set with an old mine cut diamond to the centre with three rose cut diamonds to each shoulder, made from platinum, marks worn (tests as platinum). The central diamond is clean (FL, H) the smaller diamonds are ungraded. The central diamond is claw set with 2 opposite diagonal claws positioned hori...zontal to the girdle of the diamond, on a clock face these are positioned at 10 to the hour and 20 past, see picture 2. These are not bent claws, they have been specifically made this way to give the stone a wrapped and styled support.The central diamond has high crown facets and a deep pavilion which gives it a measured carat weight of 0.30ct. Has signs of historic usage commensurate with normal wear but overall in excellent condition, cleaned and re-polished ready and ready to wear. Please note that the antique box is not included, this delightful antique ring will be sent in a new ring box. Better photos will follow.
