Rare Antique Bronze And Wrought Iron Hand Tub Fire Engine Truck Bell Hose Cart

Please note that this is a pickup only auction although I am happy to drop it off at a UPS Store where they will pack and bill the buyer directly.
Shipping update. Several people have asked about shipping and one asked if the bell could be disassembled into its individual parts to reduce box size. I replied that it can but that I can not guarantee that it may not leave slight tool marks on the nuts which hold it together or that the nuts may be frozen and that loosening them co...uld snap the shaft upon which they are screwed . The piece can be broken down by removing the nuts which hold the cross piece to which the finial is attached.
As it sits now it measures about 35" H x 22 1/2" wide and weighs about 37 pounds unboxed. I will probably screw a wood block between the two uprights to keep them from stabbing through the shipping box. I would add 10 lbs for box and packing but that is just a rough guess. The bronze bell itself is about 8 1/2 inches wide by 6 1/2 high not including the stem around which the spring sits.
If the bell is broken down it can probably ship in a box about 12" square by 36" high. The box and packing will weigh less but as I say it may leave minor tool marks on the nuts. The finial will be better protected though.
Fresh from a VT barn and first time on the market. With a little Google research I have determined that this bell is most likely from an early - possibly pre civil war - hand tub fire engine / truck. I believe the square cutout in the yoke's base fit on the main shaft which held the large pump lever but I am not an expert on fire engines or fire collectibles so you be the judge. It may also be from a hose cart but my bet is hand tub hand pump fire engine.
Nice barn fresh condition with traces of silver paint on most of the blacksmith made wrought iron yoke and traces of red paint where it mounted to whatever it mounted to. Several dents in the bronze finial and other use / age marks but overall good condition. The bell rocks back and forth in the frame and has a nice sustained ring.
A very attractive piece which should be a centerpiece in any collection. Use your creativity to make an equally pleasing mounting base. One can Google 'hand tub' fire engine to find photographs of 'Niagra' and several other hand tub engines which have similar bells suspended in forged yokes.
