Welcome to my auctions, and please remember to check out my ebay store / shop.
This auction is for an original late Victorian Bryant & May tin advertising vesta case matchsafe. To the front it is advertising 'Sweetmeat Automatic Delivery Company Limited, 52 Southwark Street, London, S.E.'.
The striker is at the back in the centre with 'Bryant & May's Wax Vestas' top and bottom and 'Made in England' to each side of the striker. Also has 'Jahncke...s Patent' on each side.
The tin opens and closes with a clip shut. In good overall condition for age, please see all pictures above.
Measures approx. 4.5 cms x 3 cms with rounded corners. Please look at my other tin vesta matchsafes.
An original piece, left in 'used' condition, and would certainly compliment and display well in any tin / match box or vesta matchsafe collection.
Please take a look at the pictures above and ask any more questions you may have, also take a look at my other vesta matchsafe listings, thank you. All of the above is my opinion. I am happy to combine postage where possible.
UK postage is second class signed for post, with an option for next day special delivery if required. Packed very well to ensure safe delivery.
There is possibly cheaper post on ebay, and unfortunately items can go missing if there is not a signature required, thank you for your understanding.
For overseas transactions ‘International Track & Signed For’ or 'International Tracked' delivery will be used, depending on the destination country.
Paypal preferred for payment, but if you wish to pay by cheque please email before bidding. I would need to wait for cheque to clear before posting out. If you have a query regarding forms of payment, please contact me.
Any questions you may have, please do not hesitate to contact me, and I will do my best to answer as best I can, and if you require additional photographs please ask.

Please make sure you have noticed that I have just changed my posting out from three working days to 30 working days in view of the current circumstances. This way I can keep the shop open and I will keep you up to date on posting out as I know, and will not get marked down for late postage. Hopefully this will revert back sooner than anticipated, but the situation is out of my control. Thank you for your understanding. Dean - Matchsaferunner!
