Pewter US Navy MkV Diver Statue from the MkV Monument Project Known as "JAKE" at NDSTC
You are bidding on a pewter exact replica of the 10 foot tall military diver monument that was erected in 2012 at the Naval Diving and Salvage Training Centre (NDSTC) in Panama City Beach, Florida. There were 300 limited edition bronze statues sold to raise the funds for the completion of the project. After the unveiling of the monument, other memorabilia was produced and sold to contribute ...to the Scholarship Fund. One of these items was the pewter replica of the monument pictured in this listing.
This statuette is made of solid pewter. It is in very good condition and comes in the original presentation box. The pentagonal bases displays seals of the five US military services.
The from rectangular plaque reads: "Presented to Naval Diving Salvage Training Center to honor those graduates of US Navy Dive Schools past, present future who go down in the sea to work."
