Full details to follow...........................................
Thanks for looking and as usual I will combine postage if you buy more than one of my items from this auction. European tracked postage is £9.85 and for the rest of the world is £11.85......I have ...had to increase charges following Royal Mail price increases in April but will still combine any number of pipes for the price of one.On 26-Jun-20 at 14:46:35 BST, seller added the following information: This is a Beautiful Refurbished Butz Choquin Aubile Luxus Filter 9 Slightly Bent Brandy Sitter 1250, Made in St.Claude France, an 1858-1998 Anniversary Pipe. Butz Choquin were created by Metz Tobacconist Jean Baptiste Choquin and his son-in-law Gustave Butz in 1858, and until the early 1950s were only marketed in France and Belgium. In 1951 Berrod Regad bought the brand, relocated production to St.Claude, and marketed it worldwide. In 2002 Fabien Guichon bought Butz Choquin, by which time the brand was known and collected internationally. The briar of this Bent Brandy Sitter is bright Chestnut Stained, with Lovely Mixed Graining, the bowl rim still crisp and un-marked. The shank end has a wide acrylic extension into which fits the push-mount 9mm Filter stem, which is a Fishtail saddle with the BC Logo, and in perfect used condition. The bowl was lightly reamed and cleansed, the stem was fully sanitised to make the pipe ready to smoke as soon as you receive it, before the whole pipe was lightly polished and waxed to give the Beautiful Finish you can see in the photos. The pipe draws and will smoke perfectly, it sits so comfortably in the hand, balanced and so very tactile.
