LOVELY ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ETRUSCAN 15K GOLD CARVED SHELL CAMEO EARRINGS c1870
A pair of antique 15 carat gold (tests thereabouts) drop earrings, holding natural shell cameos, each very finely hand carved to depict classical bacchantes. Attractive, collectible & wearable too!CONDITION: Generally very good. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Screw wires old replacements, a few areas of old solder repair to drop sections. Bar extensions old addition...s, easily removed if desired.DATE/MARKS: Around 1880. Not marked.DIMENSIONS: Drops 47 mm, cameos 16 x 13 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
