Vintage Fire King Rainbow Pastel TURQUOISE TEAL BLUE 7" Swirl Glass Mixing Bowl - PLEASE READ DESCRIPTIONFor your consideration is this hard-to-find Fire King 7 inch Turquoise Rainbow Swirl Bowl. To me it is more of a teal blue but it is normally called turquoise when sold as part of the Rainbow mixing bowl set. The bowl is beautiful on first appearance BUT has damage to 2 opposite sides of the bowl. It's like something hit each side causing internal cracks. I almost wonder i...f it was some sort of factory flawed bowl that made it to the market but more likely is something happened to it by a prior owner. The damage is generally contained to the areas of impact on each side, i.e. there are not cracks running throughout the entire bowl. The damage on one side is more visible. from the outside than the other as there are some tiny areas of paint loss (no actual holes in the glass). The other one is harder to see from the outside unless you were holding up to the light. The cracks are more apparent from the inside. It's a shame because there are no chips and the glaze is overall really nice and shiny. There may be a few minor scratches inside but overall the bowl seems to have generally not been used. As the damage is to 2 opposite sides, you could certainly display it without the damage being seen so if you are looking to add this bowl to your collection for a lower than normal price, this may be your bowl. Due to the damage, I'm not sure how structurally sound it ultimately it so I would not recommend using it.It is 7" wide x 3-3/8 deep and will weigh about 2 lbs packed safely. Thank you!
