Joanies is very excited to present a great Three Session No Reserve Estate Auction! This sale includes a wide variety of fine antique and collectables spanning over several different categories. Day one of this estate auction also includes an important collection of Ming and Song ceramics from the profe...ssor Peter Greiner collection, and also from the scholarly collection of the late Mr. Pao of Toronto. We have offered items from the Pao collection before that brought some great interest. Mr. Pao was well respected as a very knowledgeable scholarly collector. Mr. Pao also headed a high end Asian arts gallery within the Four Seasons hotel in Toronto for many years that closed down around 20 years ago now. A great opportunity to acquire several rarely found and unique examples.

Up for auction is a LARGE 18/19THC CHINESE GUAN WHITE CRACKLE GLAZE PORCELAIN BOTTLE VASE. A very fine and larger size antique example of the Qing dynasty period. With beautiful and perfectly consistent white crackle glaze throughout. Such examples are becoming increasingly hard to find.
Condition: The vase has been drilled to base and is otherwise in very fine estate-fresh condition with no chips cracks or repairs. The vase has been inspected under UV light that reveals no hidden damage or repairs.
Size: The vase is an impressive larger size example to display measuring 15 3/4 inches tall by 8 1/2 inches wide.
