PLEASE READ "CONDITION DESCRIPTION" ABOVE.........A treasure for the collector of unique and lovely handmade tassels....this is by far one of my favorites.  The intricate crocheted center medallion consists of two separate appliqués in rich brown with a beautiful tiny, barrel-shaped trim piece at top....threads are hand-knotted....individual strands are in shades of black/brown.  Authentic of the late 1800s/early 1900s.  Fine and delicate...truly lovely....French in... origin....very rich and "classy" in appearance and texture..  

This measures approximately 11.5" total from top of black threaded strand to bottom edge of longest strand in tassel....center medallion appliqué is approximately 1.5" in diameter and 8 1/4" x 1.5" (similar in shade to an "Oreo" cookie)........

This is being sold "AS IS".
