COSMETIC CONDITION:
This lamp exhibits some typical use- / handling-related wear: scattered superficial scratches and rubs; a few small scattered dents to the base; one tiny ding to the shade; there is some scattered white material on the top exterior of the shade that I did not attempt to remove; the original bottom felt is absent. Consult photos for all of this.
Otherwise this lamp is in very good original condition with no damages and no significant wear.
The lamp appears to have been rewired fairly recently. No other restorations or repairs. No missing, replaced / non original parts.
No signs of abuse.
No other dings/dents. No bends, breaks, splits, cracks. No corrosion or significant oxidation. No noticeable tool marks or pry marks. No bends or losses to the prongs on the shade. No significant scratches.
Untouched old patina as found.
Displays well.
ELECTRICAL / FUNCTION:
This lamp is functional as found. The switch is functional with no issues.
The lamp appears to have been rewired fairly recently. I have inspected all of the visible electrical components - the socket; the plug and the visible cord - and I detect no damage to these components.
I always recommend having vintage electrical items (including lamps) looked over by a professional before use.
The lamp holds any position well with no issues. All moving parts move as designed with no issues. No frozen parts. No loose parts.
