Excellent quality genuine 121 year old sterling silver set and all original and matching; a silver tea kettle decorated in the half-fluted Queen Anne style, complete with its matching silver hallmarked kettle stand and also including its original silver hallmarked spirit burner. The kettle handle still has its original leather covering and the set weighs a very heavy approx 501 grams. As a bonus there are no added engraved presentation inscriptions or estate crests. Ready to be used.Measurements Great size, measures approx 9.6 inches (240mm) in height, (complete), the kettle measures 7.9 inches (204mm) in length (including handle and spout), x 4.25 inches (106mm) wide.Date English antique late Victorian solid sterling silver, with a full set of English silver hallmarks for Sheffield 1899, (date letter "g"). Excellent clear matching marks on the pot, on the lid and also on the stand and the spirit burner. 100% guaranteed all original and matching.Maker Silversmiths initials "H.S", (Henry Stratford - 1879 - 1904).Condition Lovely condition with no splits or repairs, definitely no holes or leaks and no nasty knocks or dents, a lovely clean set. The silver lid hinge on the kettle works perfectly and the leather covering on the handle is still in good condition. The silver kettle stand is in excellent condition; the silver spirit burner has a couple of tiny little bruises, really nothing, and will work perfectly, just require some paraffin. Has a fine heavy silver weight and is ready to be used. A stunning set and hard to find sterling silver. Direct from a private estate and fresh to the market.
