Handcrafted Antique Teak Wood Bench from Indonesia has real character. It was purchased in a village in Java from a private home where it had been used by several generations of a family. It was hand made from teak wood using joint pegs and hand carving. For its age, circa 1940, it's in good shape. It has natural wood imperfections that add to the overall look. It does have a hairline crack running on the front right side of the bench seat. This occurred o...n its move from Asia to the United States and resulted due to the change in humidity. The crack has been this way for 20 years and hasn't increased any further. Have thoroughly enjoyed having this bench and have received lots of compliments from guests. Selling due to downsizing. The bench comes with three white Thai silk throw pillows and two hand embroidered wool accent pillows from India. The bench measures 57" long x 25" wide x 34" tall. The seat height measures 17.5".
