Original Description:
So pleased to offer this rare early AAFA 1844 four-color, 2-part figured and fancy American jacquard coverlet from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.  It is signed in the corner block Sarah Hess 1844 (a very well known Lancaster County name), made of wool and natural cotton and measures 80" W X 94" L.  It is in remarkable, museum quality condition!  A true treasure!
