Up for auction is a VERY FINE ANTIQUE CHINESE IMPERIAL DRAGON APRICOT SILK ROBE RANK BADGE PANEL. A very fine antique five-claw imperial dragon panel or rank badge. We believe the central dragon panel likely dates earlier than the rest of the silk mounts and frame that were likely added around 100 years ago. The quality or the central dragon panel is of Imperial quality with a nice apricot ground.
Condition: Estate-fresh some fading otherwise substantially good for antique age as seen.
Size: The dragon panel itself measures 10 1/2 inches long by 9 1/2 inches wide. The outer silk border measures 16 inches long by 15 inches wide. The frame measures 22 inches square.
