Joanies is very excited to be offering a large four-day important family estate collection. This prominent family of Doctors resided in China between 1890-1960 and during this time acquired a vast array of rare and important objects that have never been offered until now. This includes a vast array of Asi...an art examples, fine jades, snuff bottles, bronzes, porcelain, important Archaic works, and more.
A number of the items being offered were scheduled to be sent to New Yorks’s high end auctions, but due to large sale delays this year the estate had asked us to offer All the items. A great and rare opportunity to acquire some investment-grade examples.

Up for auction is a VERY FINE ANTIQUE CHINESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL GILT BRONZE SNUFF BOTTLE QIANLONG 1. Of very fine quality throughout one of two unique examples listed in this week’s estate sale. The bottle is constructed of bronze that has then gold gilt. With base Qianlong imperial seal, we believe the snuff bottle would date around 100 or so years old.
Condition: Estate-fresh could use minor cleaning otherwise very fine with no enamel loss, damage or repairs.
Size: The snuff bottle with original lid measures 2 3/4 inches tall by 2 inches wide and 1 inch thick. The bottle including stand measures 3 5/8 inches tall. The snuff bottle weighs 73 grams.
