Handsome vintage SEIKO automatic flyback chronograph men's wrist watch. NOT RUNNING. This watch is being sold as is.
I know next to nothing about this watch, except that it is desirable vintage watch that was ahead of it's time when first designed. It has been in a drawer for years - husband gave me a pile of old watches he cleaned out of his desk and dresser to sell (there will be more watches up soon, but none like this!) All I know is that I can't get it t...o run. The time can be set - hands move like they should, the date/day can be set, the chronograph dial hands move, but they don't reset like it seems they ought to when you push that button. And of course, as stated, the movement isn't running.
The stainless case is in very good condition with no issues. The face crystal is excellent for a watch of this age. Square case - dial is dark gray/black with blue chronograph. The band is not original, but is Spiedel. Stainless with gold tone accents, tight clip.
The back of the case reads "Seiko Water Resistant Stainless Steel 411063 7016-5011 Japan-A". I did not try to open the case at all. The face reads "Seiko Chronograph Automatic" with numbers above and to each side of the chronograph face - 3060, 2050, 1040. At the very bottom it reads "Japan 7016 - 5010T".Measures 1-1/2" by 1-1/2" including the buttons. Weighs 4 oz. with band.
Great vintage watch that may be an easy fix if you know what you are doing! I do not and hence did not mess around with it. Remember it is NON-RUNNING and being sold AS IS. Please ask any questions and view the photos. Thanks for looking!
