A delightful antique shell cameo carved to depict a rare scene of a lady seated in a garden setting feeding a pair of peacocks. The shell is set into a highly decorative and lovely Pinchbeck frame with scrolls, loops and globe decoration. The long pin and “C” clasp are in very good condition. The brooch is in over-all very good condition no cracks or chips with only minimum amount of wear.Cameo is 2 5/8inch x 2 1/4inches. Weight 21.7gms All my cameos are being sold from a huge priv...ate collection of exquisite pieces assembled over several decades.
