Vintage 1938 Fold-Out Menu for Jack Dempsey's Broadway Bar & Cocktail Lounge that was located in New York City.
Dempsey's, which opened in 1934, was an iconic and very popular destination for almost 40 years, closing in 1970. Dempsey was often there greeting his customers. The restaurant served luncheon and dinner and there was live entertainment and music at night. It was opposite Madison Square Garden on Broadway near 49th.
This menu appears to be from 1938 but ...has a 1939 date written in ink on the bottom section of the front panel. It has a bent top left corner but is otherwise clean and unmarked, no tears.
