This is a beautiful antique 19th Century French signed Par A Cedet pair of bronze over spelter Art Nouveau period statues from older high end estate. One is titled Le Jour and it features a lady holding a torch. It is 15 1/2" tall counting the wood base. The wood base is 5" by 5" wide and features a faux marble finish. The other stature is titled La Nuit and features a lady perched on a crescent moon. It is 14" tall and 5 1/2" wide at widest point. Has a foundry mark on back of each r...eading made in France. All I see to note is super small wear to faux paint on wood base edges on a few spots. Not worth noting. See photos. The set weighs about seven pounds. The set is very beautiful.
