Tonight I'm happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Antique - George IV c1827 - English Sterling Silver - 6.5" Large Size Six Slice Silver Toast Rack.333.5 Grams - Excellent Condition! - No Reserve! This graceful and elegant toast rack dates from the mid 1820's, about 1827, of English make and origin, fashioned as a large size 6.5" by 4.5" six slice toast rack detailed with a scrolled handle and four small feet with chased scroll and shell accents. The toast rack is sol...id and heavy with a silver weight of 333.5 grams The toast rack is in excellent condition showing very little wear, with no repairs or restorations, no rubbing or wear to the design or details and no monograms.The the toast rack is marked and stamped on the bottom with a series of small English hallmarks which date the piece to 1827 and made in London and of the George IV period.
