Original Description:
Absolutely beautiful pure silk Kashmiri rug with "Tree of Life" design. Approximately 225 - 240 KPSI. I acquired this new in Kashmir (near Srinigar), India in 1989 and have kept it rolled up and stored away ever since. Nice color change from different angles. Photos above show front, reverse and close-up of knots on reverse with ruler.* CONDITION: Excellent. I listed as "Used" under the required "Condition", however the rug was never actually used and is in excellent shape. I... didn't choose "New" simply because it is over 30 years old.
* SIZE: Measures approximately 23 5/8 x 35 3/4 inches (just shy of 2 x 3 feet), not including the fringe.
