Excellent quality genuine 113 year old sterling silver set; all original and matching, a very attractive set decorated in the sought after half-reeded "Queen Anne" design and the sugar bowl & cream jug still have partially gilded interiors. The set has a good heavy silver weight, approx 356 grams and the teapot has an approx 3/4 pint capacity. As a bonus there are no added personal engraved crests or monograms and nothing has been erased. Great set.Measurements A bachelor sized set, The teapot measures approx 8.5 inches (215mm) in length, (including handle and spout), x 3.45 inches (88mm) wide and stands 4.7 inches (118mm) in height. The sugar bowl measures 5.6 inches (141mm) x 2.5 inches (64mm) and stands 2.85 inches (71mm) in height. The cream jug measures 3.75 inches (95mm) in length (including handle and spout) x 1.8 inches (46mm) and is 2.4 inches (60mm) in height. Date English antique Edwardian solid sterling silver with a full set of English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1907, (date letter "h"). Good clear struck marks on all 3 pieces with a further silver hallmark on the teapot lid.Maker Silversmiths initials "A.C.M Co", (Alexander Clark Manufacturing Co - 1899 - 1912). Stamped on the base of all 3 pieces with the makers details in full.Condition Lovely condition with no splits or repairs, no wear holes or leaks and no nasty knocks or dents, just a little surface dent on the teapot, really nothing much at all and a nice genuine 113 year old set. The cream jug and sugar bowl are both in great condition, definitely matching and still have partially gilded bowls. Attractive Queen Anne shape and with a good heavy silver weight.
