Description:Theitem up for bids is a stunning streamlined 1930s machine age desklamp. It features a chrome stepped disk base and half-circle supportarm with a gorgeous contrasting copper shade. The shade is on apivot and can be angled to direct the light. It is a quality vintagelamp that feels solid, stable, and well made. Please note there is abulb in some of the photos but the lamp is being shipped without abulb. Live better with modern lighting, have some fun and bid!Condition:Aswit...h all vintage lighting it should be checked by your electricianprior to use. The overall condition is fair to good vintage. Thelamp works but the push button switch on the socket is wonky so thesocket probably needs to be swapped out. The cord looks like it wasreplaced at some point. The chrome has scratches, scuffs, dings, andfine pin-prick pitting. There is surface grime on the chrome and itcould benefit from a Simichrome polish. The copper shade is in goodshape with age appropriate handling wear and minor spotting. Thereare no dents or bends in the shade. The pivot head works as designedand will hold the shade at an angle. The pictures are the bestindicator as to condition, please use the zoom feature and check themout.Dimensions:It'sabout 13" tall to the top of the pivot ball. The shade is about7-1/4" in diameter. The base is about 5-3/8" in diameter.
