Wonderful Chestnut Hill Studio handmade pine Primitive Dry Sink with shelf and two doors. One door is missing the tiny knob. Hand signed by artist.Measurements: 4 1/8" x 2 1/4" x 2"Chestnut Hill Studio's was a company that made beautiful furniture during the mid 20th century. Reta Cowles Johnson, a retired New York advertising executive, established Chestnut Hill Studio in 1947, located in Churchville, NY. She had an interest in antiques, which led to her intere...st in miniature furniture. She and her husband, Arthur LeRoy Johnson, contributed many of the designs for their early pine line.
CH designs were attributed to real examples in museums, reference books and private collections. A large majority of the pine pieces were made from pine that was over 100 years old, in order to achieve the soft colors of the old wood.I have coordinating pieces in my store if you're interested!International customer's: Please contact me for shipping options.
