Old Vintage Very Rare Red Jacket Davenport Iowa Cast Iron Mellon Top Hand Water Well Pump. Summer is here and everybody's home for yard work. Get the wife's yard art and get er done. Very nice old original rare Red Jacket Mellon top water well pump for use by hand. Body has part number FT4 cast on it. The pump has all original Red Jacket matching parts. Handle moves up and down ok. It has 1 1/4" pipe with good threads for mounting more pipe to the bottom. This is a good workin...g condition old pump. Base and body is good hard to find and it has the Red Jacket name cast on one side. One side of the base has had a small welding repair. No other visible cracks, welds or repairs. Pump has been repainted. It has a hook for the water conductor to hang on the curved spout. The Pump is 38 inches tall and has a 28 inch handle. This pump will make a great yard art decoration or will pump water with the addition of a pump cylinder more pipe and sucker rod. The last two photos show the mounting of a pump and the working parts of a pump cylinder. They can be downloaded and printed for your information, copies are not included.
