For sale today we have a very rare Mettlach Stein #2766 " The Drinker". The date is a little obscure but shows 1902.The Stein details a man happily drinking and Smoking his pipe. The inlaid decoration on top shows what appears to be a vegetable with a smoking pipe.The pewter lid is very well maintained as it opens and closes easily. There is no dents, wobble, and fits perfectly on the rim of the cup.The Stein is tall for a 0.5L. Measuring 9 1/4" tall to the top of the thumblift. The Th...umblift displays a smiling heavily cleavaged woman. Base diameter measures 4".This is a must have for the collector.
